General information for authors & speakers

Technical specifications for presentation

PDF and PowerPoint presentations (Office 2016) in landscape format (16:9) are permitted for your presentation. Please use standard formats (avi, wmv, mpg) for video or audio files and bring these as separate files to the media check-in. When using video sequences, please ensure that the CODEC required for playback is supplied.

NEW: For ecological reasons, we are dispensing with printed speaker's badges on the lectern. Therefore, please include your name on the start slide or at best as a footer in your presentation. Thank you very much!

Please hand in your presentation in time (preferably the day before but not later than 2 hours before your presentation time) at the media check-in. Please use media with a USB connection to hand in your presentation. If you use a USB stick as a storage medium, please do not protect it with software.

It is possible to test the presentation and edit it if necessary. In the lecture theatre you will find a lectern with a laptop, a remote control for your presentation and a laser pointer. If you wish to use non-digital media, please contact us in any case.
