A warm welcome in Ljubljana! After finishing the first day of lectures at ECTES 2023 all are invited to the formal Opening Ceremony. Once the officials have finished giving their speeches, you are in for a treat – a short concert by Big Band orchestra of the Ljubljana Medical faculty and an acrobatic performance by the Dunking Devils. Once finished listening to one of the biggest organ pipes in Europe, you can mingle with other participants over a glass of wine before exploring the Ljubljana old town.

Ljubljana says Hello! On the second evening of the congress, we shall rise to Nebo show restaurant. With views overlooking Ljubljana castle this is without a doubt the main social event of ECTES 2023. In the unlikely event that the view, local cuisine, and drinks don’t lift your spirits, there will be plenty of networking possibilities and entertainment on site. Be sure to catch a glimpse of the city lights before you descend and stroll back to your hotel.
